Sycamore Hollow or "The Cabin" is a rustic family cabin on 40 acres of beautiful Southeast Ohio woods.

In 1955 Roger and Jane Gove bought 40 acres of woods in Vinton County Ohio to have a space to enjoy the outdoors with family. In the early 60's they built on the land. The Cabin has now been a place of rest and connection for five generations and countless family friends! The Cabin holds a special place in our family and we hope you love it as much as we do.

Sycomore Hollow is a family cabin and is not available for rent to the public. However we love to share our special place and rent out the to people connected to our family. Guests will need to bring their own bedding and clean the cabin when they leave. To inquire about availability or any other questions fill out the form below.

Cabin
The cabin has a small dine-in kitchen, living room, one bedroom, bathroom, a loft, and screened porch. There are five single beds and two more couches that can be converted to single beds in the loft, one small bedroom with a double bed, and a day bed and two couches in the common area. The cabin is equipped with basic cookware and eating utensils but you will need to provide your own bedding, bath towels, kitchen towels and dish cloths. Because of the rural location and terrain don't expect to have cell service at the cabin or on the surrounding roads. Be sure to plan accordingly!
Location
Sycamore Hollow is located in Vinton county near New Plymouth, OH. The cabin sits on 40 private acres and borders part of Zeleski State Forrest. Lake Hope State Park is just down the road.
